all this enthusiasm has got me doing something i've always wanted to do: write about japonisme, so i'm finally doing it. after having studied it for 40 years or so, i've started a blog!

"lily in the roses" as inspired by odilon redon

less and less do i seem to be able to leave regular photos alone....
i'm thinking of taking a profile photo of myself and then adding a "played with" version of it to the right side, looking at the flowers, inspired by odilon redon's paintings of women with flowers
